Originally from Greece, Giorgio Fronimos made Castellina in Chianti, a small village in the heart of the Chianti Classico region, his home fifteen years ago.

Wine making took his interest from the beginning and for eleven years he worked in wineries in the region.

During that period, he had the opportunity, working next to some of the best professionals in this field, to build a first hand experience on all aspects of wine making both out in the vinyards and in the cellar.

Giorgio obtained a Sommelier diploma in 2001 and since then he has participated in many events and wine tastings. His passion  and desire  to share his knowledge led him to start the Real Chianti customized touring service.
